If making a report by phone, you will be connected to a specialist call handler from an independent company. The call handler will ask you a number of questions and will guide you through the reporting process. If making a report online the online system will guide you through the reporting process.
Reporters will be given a private code by which they can revisit their report to view status updates and respond to questions from the Investigator. It is helpful for the reporter to revisit their report regularly. The reports are allocated to an independent investigator. All reports are handled confidentially.
As long as a report is made for good reason and in good faith, the reporter will be protected from retaliation.
