Flint Group Flexographic Products presents new product developments at SDW 2015
From June 9 to 11, the SDW (Security Document World) 2015 conference once again took place with great success. More than 110 exhibitors and 1,700 visitors from 70+ nations met at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster, London (Great Britain). The SDW is an important international event for technology suppliers, security document printers, infrastructure providers and integrators in the fast-moving security document market place.
The three-day conference was used as a platform to network between the industry’s top movers from government and industry sectors for document security, e-passports, visas, driving licenses, national IDs, worker credentials, advanced border control, anti-counterfeiting, fraud detection and much more.
As an exhibitor, Flint Group Flexographic Products had the possibility to showcase their wide plate portfolio for security and banknote printing as well as the latest generation of processing equipment.
The highlight and focus of Flint Group’s presentation was a new product development: nyloprint® WS W Digital. The new letterpress plate shows improved reproduction characteristics for the printing of finest micro-text and guilloche patterns in combination with the nyloprint® NExT Exposure, a technology which is based on the latest generation of UV-A LEDs for improved reproducibility and further reduction of production tolerances.
For coating applications, there was great customer interest in the new water washable nyloprint® WA 116 S and WA 116 S Digital plates, which enable security printers to produce their coating plates in-house instead of sourcing them from external suppliers.
