Inks for News Print

The Newsman 060 series of process colours were developed specifically for use in the News Limited Group. They are designed on a 'single phase' vehicle system to enable fast penetration of newsprint stocks which facilitates less marking through the press, and enabling more efficient printing on back to back colour.

It has robust lithographic properties and displays excellent rub resistance across a wide variety of standard newsprint and specialty grade newsprint stocks.

Newsman 344 Black is a new breed of black designed to penetrate paper stocks quickly to reduce marking and set-off. It is made from a predominantly mineral oil vehicle system and is most specifically suited for knifing to older style presses with undershot ducting, but may be pumped from drums.

SupaSet 501 Spot Colour inks are designed to match solid overtrap and common process colour configurations in a CMYB sequence. As with their matching process series, SupaSet 501 Spot Inks are designed to penetrate paper stocks quickly to reduce marking and set-off while displaying excellent lay and trap characteristics. The system is made from a predominantly mineral oil based vehicle system and is most specifically suited for knifing to presses with undershot ducting, but can also be pumped from drums.
